Calling all Budding Robin Hoods

One of the most popular activities we offer free of charge to our guests at our Normandy gite to rent is archery. The great thing about archery is that it’s relatively easy to do for all ages and abilities but not so easy to do well. We have a designated archery area, kevlar safety netting and a wide range of bows and equipment for youngsters up to older more capable archers as you can see below.

After some initial training from Nigel, we can nominate a responsible adult in your group to supervise everyone which means that you can practice to your hearts content as and when you like. It also means you don’t have to hear him droning on and on about the skills of our English archers and their yew long bows at the battles of Agincourt and Crecy where we thrashed the French armies, something that funnily enough they don’t teach the French children about at school. It was a sort of pay back time for them thrashing us at the battle of Hastings a few hundred years before!

So if you fancy having a go at archery whilst enjoying a fantastic holiday at one of the best Normandy gites to rent around then please get in touch as soon as possible as we are already receiving a high level of bookings for next year
